I have a slight obsession recently with the Retro Eye make up, specially the 60's kitten eyeliner look, were the eyes is the focal point of the face. But I really don't have the patient to apply it correctly although I've goggled a bunch of video tutorials. Flavorful Carrot Cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinamon
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups white sugar
2 2/3 cups shredded carrots
3/4 cup applesauce
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup flaked coconut
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix sugar, oil, and eggs. Beat in flour mixture. Stir in shredded carrots, applesauce, chopped nuts and flaked coconut. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
